Mythica Community

The great treasuries of the world's traditions have been preserved most powerfully within art, music and literature. Inside these images and stories are seeds that can ignite our own imaginations, connecting us to both the ancient wisdom of the past and illuminating the latent wisdom that lies within each human heart. Mythica is dedicated to preserving the rich culture which is our human heritage and to passing on a legacy of creativity, contemplation and compassion .

Thursday, March 28- Easter Sunday, March 31
Bishop's Ranch, Healdsburg, California

A three day contemplative Holy Week retreat weaving together ancient liturgies with creative arts practices, inspired by the faithful and compassionate examples of the holy women who accompanied Jesus on his journey: Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary and the other female disciples present at the cross. We will partake in Taize services, a Maundy Thursday footwashing, a Good Friday lamentation procession of chant and poetry,  a participatory musical drama (the Passion According to Mary Magdalene) and a sunrise Easter service in nature. Co-lead by Kayleen Asbo, Ph.D, artist and soul collage facilitator Sue Ellen Parkinson, musician Robin O’Brien and liturgist/interfaith minister Lizzie Berne De Gear. Learn more and register HERE
